A step-by-step seminar to starting a business in Jefferson County.  This class covers all the commonly-asked questions, including how to do a trade name search, choosing the right legal structure, registering with the state, local licensing requirements, and options for financing your business.

The plan typically includes the basic components about the business; description, target market & marketing tactics, the goals and the way you will run your business and the financials.  Even if you are not seeking financing your plan is where you will put your concept into action.

Marketing Essentials 101

Who should attend?  Anyone thinking about starting a business or someone who has just launched a business! 
To succeed in business you need customers.  How do you find them and more importantly -  how do they find you?  In this class you will learn how to recognize your ideal customer, identify your target markets and create a unique selling proposition.  All 3  of these key elements are essential for a successful marketing strategy.
